Outdoor units are usually all on one level and have easy access to moving trucks.
Most storages are designed to store personal or business belongings, some facilities offer spaces for parking vehicles or vessels.
Most units can be reserved up to 30 days before the move in.
Rental contracts are usually month-to-month agreements, if long-term lease is required, please contact the storage facility associate.
Most storage facilities are open 7 days a week, but hours of access may vary by location.
You can use your gate code to access your storage unit anytime during access hours.
During office hours, a manager is available to provide in-person customer service and answer any questions you might have, collect rent etc.
All things you store are your responsibility and insurance for your stored belongings is required. A majority of the facilities offer that service.
Portable Storage
Using portable storage services could be a convenient way to move your household goods or business equipment.
The process of moving is very simple: the company drops off crates at your location, you load your belongings and furniture inside, lock the crates up, and the company comes to pick them up and will bring the crates to the new location as scheduled. This is not recommended by most professional moving companies in the Bay Area. The main reasons are for cost and assurance that items will be undamaged when they arrive.
